The final product was a low poly version of the Renault 5 Turbo that still showed and expressed its boxy rally styled body shape, coming to a small 3000 polys rounded to the nearest 100. Furthermore, i included added detail for windows, headlights and bumpers to help create depth in the piece without the need to texture.
But when it came to texturing with time span i had i kept it simple, using block colours and some grunge to create dirt like effect on a simple paint work. It did not look the best it could but unfortunately i did not give myself the time i needed to texture it well, otherwise i could not have had my boards completed on time nor my write up (which was missing). Too create variate i did two colours, red and blue. As although there was only 5000 cars produced they came in loads of funky colours, so that race teams or anyone who had one to express themselves a bit.
