My approach to the theme
My final product is a 3D model of the rally classic Renault 5 Turbo. This car is now classed as a classic retro rally car that had a small production life but is a memorable car. The cars production run lasted 6 years with 5000 cars produced. These cars had a 1.4 4-cylinder engine with a Garret T3 turbo. This engine let off a solid 160 BHP and 221 pound of torque, which for a rally car of that time and its size was rather good, which it showed on the course.
Because of all of this i felt the little car would be good to model for this theme as it did not last long, nor was it the best car around. So it was left to be forgotten about, i have never seen one of these at all, let alone being driven. Showing this has become a true piece of history that no one really talks about or probably does not even know existed. So i served it justice by using this car for my project, linking it to theme rather nicely but from a different perspective that most would not take. Giving myself a uniqueness to others.

Below i will have pictures of the model from different angles and perspectives showing my work. I was given the idea to do it in two colours to show variety as although there was only 5000 cars produced they came in loads of funky colours, so that race teams or anyone who had one to express themselves a bit. In addition, i did not do anything different from the stock version, so there is not any rally components added or street race parts or anything like that. Preserving its true form.
